ASL Storytime In-Person
AURORA of Central New York, with support from the Literacy Coalition of Onondaga County, is excited to launch the Bedtime Book Series, bringing the hearing and Deaf communities together. Our Deaf Storyteller for this Bedtime Book series will be Kelley Cooper.
To increase literacy, language development, and inclusivity for all children, AURORA will read children’s stories in spoken English and signed in ASL during story time. Each family will receive a copy of the book along with a QR coded bookmark that allows them to access an online version of the story so participants can re-read these stories.
