4-part series: Tuesdays, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21 & 10/28, 6-8pm.

In this four-session class, OFL's Digital Services & Technology Librarian will teach you how to design, build, and deploy a Wizard of Oz-themed fortune teller machine using the Arduino Uno single board computer. Working in pairs over the course of four weeks, you and your partner will explore fundamental electronic and computer science concepts as you use the Arduino Uno, LEDs, a servo motor, MP3 player, speaker, touch sensors, and an ultrasonic range finder to assemble and code your fortune teller. No prior experience with Arduino, programming, or electronics is required; this class is designed for beginners. All supplies, including laptops for programming the Arduino, will be provided. Participants need only bring their curiosity and a desire to learn.
