Colors in Motion: Art Class for Seniors In-Person
Join us for an arts program geared towards seniors to support overall-wellbeing!
Did you know that participating in creative activities can support healthy aging?
Engaging in the arts as we age promotes life-long learning, stimulates the brain, and supports emotional expression.
We invite you to take charge of your health and put colors in motion with us!
Art projects during this program will be focused on using paint colors in unique and unconventional ways. You will get to learn and experiment with different types of action-inspired painting techniques such as marbling and pulled-string painting to produce colorful abstract art.
No prior art experience or knowledge is needed to participate.
This program is facilitated by Hannah Pietra, licensed creative arts therapist and board-certified music therapist at Syracuse Jewish Family Service.
