Fly a Drone In-Person
2-part series: Tuesday 6/10 & Thursday 6/12, 6-8pm
Always wanted to fly a drone, but unsure where to start? In this two-session class, OFL staff will provide you with an introduction to all things drone: you'll learn the basics of what a drone is, how it functions, and how you, as a responsible pilot, can fly and control these incredible machines. Once you master the basics, you'll then test your skills and compete against your fellow participants in a race through our very own drone obstacle course. No previous experience required. Patrons do not need to own a drone to participate; drones for in-library use will be provided.
Please note: this is program is open to both teens AND adults. Interested adults who wish to attend on their own are encouraged to do so. Likewise, teens may participate without adult supervision. Teens and their parent/guardians are welcome to participate together, but must register individually. Those participating without a partner will be paired up by the instructors.
For ages 10+ and adults | REGISTRATION REQUIRED
-registering for one session registers you for both.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of Onondaga Free Library.
