Intro to Electronics with Arduino

Intro to Electronics with Arduino In-Person

4-part series: Tuesday, 2/4, 2/11, 2/18 & 2/25, 6-8pm

In this four-session class, OFL's Digital Services & Technology Librarian will introduce you to the basics of electronics using the Arduino Uno single board computer. Each week, you and your partners will explore fundamental electronic concepts, including circuits, components, and digital signals, through hands-on experimentation with various electronic circuits, from simple LED blinkers to interactive sensors and actuators. No prior experience with Arduino, programming, or electronics is required; this class is designed for beginners. All supplies, including laptops for programming the Arduino, will be provided. Participants need only bring their curiosity and a desire to learn.
Please note: this is program is open to both teens AND adults. Interested adults who wish to attend on their own are encouraged to do so. Likewise, teens may participate without adult supervision. Teens and their parent/guardians are welcome to participate together, but must register individually. Those participating without a partner will be paired-up by the instructor.

For teens (ages 12+) & adults | REGISTRATION REQUIRED-registering for the first session registers you for all sessions
