Password Managers In-Person
Thinking of, managing, and storing the multiple passwords that are a requirement in today's digital world can be a daunting task. Make your passwords too short and they could be compromised by malicious actors. But make them too long and complex and they could be impossible to remember. To say nothing of having to organize and store them all. Fortunately, there are a number of safe, secure, and easy-to-use password managers that can relieve those password anxieties.
In this one-session class, OFL's Digital Services and Technology Librarian will provide you with an in-depth look at these essential cybersecurity tools. You'll learn how password mangers work, what features they have to offer, how to choose the right password manager, and why they are critical to ensuring your online accounts remain secure.
Patrons are strongly encouraged to bring their own devices.
