Storytime featuring local author Tina Shepardson In-Person
Hear a story and work on a craft with local author Tina Shepardson, presenting her picture book, The Sorry Seeds.
There will be books available to purchase via Parthenon Books for signing as well.
ABOUT THE BOOK: When first-grader Courtney is caught taking an apple from her neighbor’s tree without permission, she wonders how she can apologize in a way that shows how sorry she is. And since her neighbor is also her teacher, she will have to figure it out by morning. Fortunately, an idea takes root and gives Courtney the courage to apologize.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: An award-winning teacher for 33 years, Tina has shared her love of books with so many students. She is the author of the picture book Walkout (2020) and forthcoming chapter book, Canines Unleashed (Summer 2025). She is a volunteer with SCBWI, an active member of 12x12, a Rate Your Story judge, and a volunteer with Syracuse City Schools’ Book Buddies. When Tina isn’t writing, she enjoys Upstate NY and the Catskills with her husband, daughter and two Akitas.
