Explore Virtual Reality! In-Person
Have you ever wanted to walk with a dinosaur? Explore ancient ruins on a distant planet? Tour the International Space Station? Or jump through a video game world just like Super Mario? In Virtual Reality, you can do all of that and more! During this drop-in program, you're invited to try out our Oculus GO Virtual Reality console under the supervision of OFL's Digital Services & Technology Librarian. Play a VR game, enjoy a VR experience, or just stop by to find out what VR is all about.
Please note that this is an informal program. Patrons will be given the opportunity to use our VR system on a first-come, first-served basis. The length of time a patron may use the system will depend upon the number of patrons currently waiting for a turn.
CAUTION: VR may induce nausea in those who experience motion sickness. Please let staff know if you are prone to motion sickness before using the system.
